GSTN Workshop on New Return (Trial) for Stakeholders
GSTN has released trial version of the New Returns (Trial) Offline Tool of Form GST ANX-1, Form GST ANX-2 (with Matching Tool built in it) and a template for Purchase Register to be used to import data from purchase register for matching. The purpose behind release of GST New Return Offline Tool on trial basis is to enable familiarization of stakeholders with tool’s functionalities and to get their feedback/suggestions to improve the tool further, before its actual deployment. GSTN has also provided online version of GST ANX-1 and GST ANX-2 on its portal, for the taxpayers to try it out.
GSTN, in association with the Central and State/UT GST formations, is conducting training sessions in different cities to impart training to stakeholders on various functionalities of the Offline Tool (Trial Version) and online version of GST ANX-1 and GST ANX-2, as per the following schedule:
- On 19th October, 2019, at Hotel Aketa, Near Silver City Mall, Rajpur Road, Dehradun, from 1430 TO 1700 Hrs
2.On 21st October, 2019, at Jaycees Public School Auditorium, Gangapur Road, Fulsunga, Rudrapur, from 1400 TO 1700 Hrs

Update:
Extension of Directions Period -Dr. Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar Urban Co-operative Limited, Nilanga, Maharashtra:
Reserve Bank of India had issued directions to Dr. Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar Urban Co-operative Limited, Nilanga, Dist.Latur, and has extended the period of directions for further period of 6 months from October 16, 2019 to April 15, 2020, subject to review.
Implication:
The issue of Directions should not per se be construed as cancellation of banking license by the Reserve Bank of India. The bank will continue to undertake banking business with restrictions till its financial position improves.
Update:
Extension of Directions Period- Shivam Sahakari Bank Ltd., Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra:
The Reserve Bank of India had placed the Shivam Sahakari Bank Ltd., Ichalkaranji, District Kolhapur, Maharashtra, under Directions from the close of business on May 19, 2018 and has directed that the aforesaid Directive shall continue to apply to the bank till November 30, 2019, subject to review.
Implication:
Shivam Sahakari Bank limited shall follow the directions issued by RBI till 30th November 2019
Update:
Alteration in the name of \”The Catholic Syrian Bank Limited\” to \”CSB Bank Limited\”:
RBI has advise that the name of \”The Catholic Syrian Bank Limited\” is changed to \”CSB Bank Limited\” in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 with effect from June 10, 2019
Implication:
The Catholic Syrian Bank Limited shall conduct its business in the name of CSB Bank Limited w.e.f. 10th June 2019
